Zuchinni Sabzi

  • 800g zuchinni
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder (mild)
  • 1 big tomato
  • salt


  1. Chop zuchini in medium size chunks and put it aside. Chop tomato and put aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and cook for around 15 seconds
  3. Add zuchinni and stir it well with mustard seed oil.
  4. Add turmeric and red chili powder. Stir and cover the pan, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Now add tomato & salt and again cook covered on low heat for another 10 min. If it is too watery, cook on high for 5 min.
  6. Transfer it to the serving bowl, garnish with corriander and serve with chapati
